Please complete the following surveys to participate in annual chapter officer elections for the IEEE ComSoc Denver Chapter. The descriptions for each officer position can be found here and a short bio for each candidate is found below.
Only one vote per member for each category is allowed. If you are having problems with the voting modules, please ensure that scripts are not blocked.
The election results will be posted on the IEEE website and sent to members within in two weeks.
Candidate bios:
Jill Arnson: I have been a member of the IEEE since graduate school when I got my Master’s in Computer Science. I have been a Senior member since 2007. I have been in the Telecommunications industry for over 20 years. I have served in various positions on the board of the Communications Society for several years, and feel that I have a lot to contribute. Jill currently serves as the ComSoc Vice-Chair.
Bill Lehman: Bill has served as Denver ComSoc chapter Treasurer since 2000.
Dhawal Moghe: I am a Senior Architect at CableLabs responsible for developing new video services and work on the OpenCable (true2way) project. My responsibility at CableLabs includes working on IPTV, video compression and transport standards, network transport for new video and multimedia services, and advanced advertising services by developing new service architectures, specifications, standards and testing methodologies. Prior to CableLabs I worked in the R&D organizations of Alcatel-Lucent and Nortel in the areas IPTV, wireless networks and standards, systems engineering, and multimedia communications. I hold a B. Tech degree in Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, and an MS (Computer Science) and MBA (Management Information Systems) degrees from Syracuse University, in Syracuse, NY. I am a Senior Member of IEEE and have served as the Chairman of the Dallas Section of IEEE and as the Chairman of the IEEE Communications and Vehicular Society Chapter, and am a recipient of the IEEE Third Millennium Medal. I am interested in new technologies, products and services and would be glad to offer my help in organizing technical talks and presentations.
Anna Paulson: Hi everyone! I have worked in telecommunications for the past 13 years. I'm currently employed as an Electronics Engineer with the Institute for Telecommunication Sciences at the Department of Commerce labs in Boulder where I research public safety communications systems. I have been an IEEE member since 2004 and currently serve with the Denver ComSoc chapter as Webmaster.
