Abstract: Reduce ADSL2
provisioning and troubleshooting time with this extensive tutorial on what's
under the ADSL2 hood to mitigate the negative effects of noise :
Participants will learn about noise
mitigation and error correction inherent to the ADSL2 specification. First, we
will cover physical plant best practices. Then, we will investigate tuning
parameters such as targetSNRmargin, INP, SRA to maximize the subscriber
experience for Voice, Video and Data services. We will investigate the types of
errors generated by noise, how to create and how to design and implement a
custom ADSL2 line profile to reduce or eliminate these
errors.
